Our Aims
More than 12 million children who have lost one or both of their parents because of AIDS and poverty related problems live in Africa--south of the Sahara, many among them in Kenya. Each year the number of orphans is growing rapidly. Rarely does someone feel responsible for these kids. They partly live in the streets or with relatives who try to provide for their basic needs – often insufficiently. Hard enough, many of their relatives are HIV-positive, too.Without any help from outside or within, these children do barely have a chance to find any hope for the future. They lack basic care; accommodation, education, health care, and affection.
We help by promoting and creating institutions, which ensure that the needs of these children are taken care of.
»Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father is in caring for orphans and widows in their distress.«
– The Bible, James 1,27 –
